People here earn their living through agricultural cultivations, and a handful of them who work with the Bharath Earth movers Limited. Besides this, the village is famous for its yearly car festival and stringent traditional lifestyle. The nearest railway station to this place is the Bangarpet Junction, and nearest bus stop can be found at BEML nagar. It is sad that in fast paced generation one has to use their own vehicles to reach the bus stop or railway station since there is no transport facilities directly available to this place.
